Vernor’s soda pop, the popular Michigan ginger flavored soft drink came out with seven more limited edition cans featured lighthouses for 2018. The lighthouses featured were: Forty Mile Point, Old Mackinac Point, Point Irquouis, Point Betsie, St. Joseph and Little Sable Point. Last year Vernors featured cans with the following lighthouses: Big Sable Point, Crisp Point, Eagle Harbor, Grand Haven and Tawas Point. Vernor’s was created in 1866 by pharmacist James Vernor and it is a Michigan original with a 152-year heritage. It has a devoted following in Michigan, which in recent years has expanded into other states.
