Mr. Siegle Found

Thanks to Chad Kaiser we now know the person identified only as C. Siegle on page 28 of the November/December issue of Lighthouse Digest was not a lighthouse keeper at New Hampshire’s Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse. Chad had an additional photo that provided more information identifying the man as Chris Siegle a civilian foreman mechanic at the Portsmouth Depot in Portsmouth, Virginia. Siegle was working on a few lenses in preparation for a display at the Norfolk Naval Base for Armed Forces Day.

This story appeared in the Jan/Feb 2012 edition of Lighthouse Digest Magazine.
