The Castle Museum has a new major lighthouse exhibit at its Museum Annex on the first level of the former Jacobson’s Department Store at 201 S. Jefferson in Saginaw, Michigan.

The exhibit features 150 large aerial photographs taken by pilot and author John Wagner, lighthouse artifacts on loan from the Great Lakes Lighthouse Keeper’s Association, the Saginaw River Marine Historical Society, the Smithsonian Institute and private collections.

Also on display is a spectacular large scale model of Michigan’s Saginaw River Rear Range Lighthouse made by volunteer John Heintz.

In addition, the traveling exhibit, Ladies of the Light, highlighting women lighthouse keepers of Michigan will be on display from July 20 to September 12.

The Castle Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am to 4:40 pm and on Sundays from 1 pm to 4:30 pm.
