After being closed for many months to repair the stirs, Cape Hatteras Lighthouse on the Outer Banks of North Carolina will reopen to the public on April 18.

Tours will begin at 9am daily and will run 20 minutes with a limit of 60 people per tour. Tour fees are $4.00 for adults and $2.00 for children under 12 and senior citizens 62 and over. The ticket booth opens at 8am daily, but tours are expected to sell out by noon each day. Since some times are pre-sold to school groups it is best to call ahead at 252-995-4474.
