Photo Caption:

The second Sodus Point Lighthouse, also referred to as the Sodus Bay Lighthouse, shown in this vintage photograph, was completed in 1871 and served until 1901 when it was replaced by the Sodus Point Pier Lighthouse. However, lighthouse keepers continued to live in the structure. The structure, now owned by the Town of Sodus, is leased to the Sodus Bay Historical Society as the Sodus Bay Lighthouse Museum.
