This vintage photograph of the Cape Argo Light Station and the bridge was probably taken before 1910. The building on the lower part of the bluff, which gives the illusion of being on the bridge, is the early U.S. Life-Saving Service station that was constructed at the site. The lighthouse shown here is the third lighthouse to be built on the island. (Lighthouse Digest archives.)
