Photo Caption:

A vintage post card image of the Stonington Harbor Breakwater Lighthouse in Stonington, Connecticut where Joseph J. Fuller was the lighthouse keeper from 1899 to 1917. There were no living quarters at the lighthouse and keeper Fuller lived in a beautiful home on the shore. The lighthouse was discontinued in 1926 and demolished. It was replaced by a skeletal type automated beacon.
