Crowds gather in October of 2007 at the Watch Hill Lighthouse for the 200th Birthday celebration of the light station and the 150th anniversary of when the current tower was built. The celebration was held in 2007 because it would have been too cold in February of 2008 to hold the event on the actual date of the anniversary. (Lighthouse Digest archives)
