Our cover photo this month is the Oak Island Lighthouse in Caswell Beach, North Carolina. At 155 feet tall, this is the second tallest concrete lighthouse built by the U.S. (the tallest is Navassa Island Lighthouse in the West Indies, which is 162 feet tall). The tower is now owned by the Town of Caswell Beach. Photograph by Jerry Tyson of Maple Shade, New Jersey.
