Photo Caption:

Moose Peak Lighthouse, off the coast of Jonesport, Maine, where Thomas Frank Faulkingham was as an assistant lighthouse keeper from September 1, 1923 until July 1, 1928 when he was appointed the head keeper. He served at Moose Peak Lighthouse until December 1, 1932 when he was transferred to Baker Island Lighthouse. Interestingly, his cousin, Albion Faulkingham, had been the head lighthouse keeper at Moose Peak Lighthouse before him. Another relative, James H. Faulkingham, had served at Moose Peak Lighthouse from 1895 to 1897. Another family relative, Osmond C. Faulkingham, also served in the U.S. Lighthouse Service as the captain of a lighthouse tender.
